Please note that participation in the Intersport Dog Walk (in aid of Hudson Foundation) is conditional upon the participant’s acceptance and compliance with the terms and conditions outlined below.

  • Individuals of all ages may participate in the Intersport Dog Walk; however each dog must be accompanied by an individual who is at least sixteen (16) years of age or older at the date of registration.
  • Participation in the Intersport Dog Walk is against a charge of fifteen Euro (€15) per dog which may be accompanied by a maximum of four (4) persons. This charge is non-refundable.
  • The Intersport Dog Walk will take place at the same time and location as the Intersport 10K Series Maqluba Edition.
  • Participation in this Intersport Dog Walk does not imply participation in the Intersport 10K Series Maqluba Edition. To participate in the latter event, one must register and incur the related participation fee.
  • Each dog will be provided with one (1) goodie bag. They will also be awarded one (1) participation medal upon completing the race and surpassing the finish line.
  • By taking part in this Intersport Dog Walk, participants are hereby guaranteeing that both themselves and their dogs, are in good physical and mental health, and understand the risks associated with participating in this event.
  • Participants should make themselves aware of the impacts other people, dogs and various other stimuli which may affect their dog’s behaviour and mental state.
  • Music will be played at a considerable volume during the event, and the Organiser shall not be held responsible for any dogs being affected by this.
  • Participants are obliged to inform the Organiser of any form of illness they suffer from, which might affect their performance or if any medical treatment would be required.
  • If any individual or dog appears to be under distress or harm, they should cease participation.
  • Participants are expected to be responsible pet owners and must maintain effective control of their dog at all times. The Organiser shall not be held responsible for any attack, injury or irritation caused by another dog or participant.
  • Participants must carry dog leads. For safety reasons and security, dogs should be on the lead at all times.
  • Participants are required to clean up after their dogs.
  • Participants are required to have water bottles for their dogs, if needed. Dog water stations will be located at the end of the walk and water will be provided for dogs in dog bowls. Participants must maintain full responsibility of their dog’s behaviour when availing themselves of this water and the Organiser shall not be held responsible for any misbehaviour or conflict arising between dogs.
  • By entering the Intersport Dog Walk, participants are hereby granting unlimited permission to having photos and videos, of them, their family members, friends and dogs, taken and published for marketing and promotional purposes.
