We operate web servers hosted in the Netherlands, and our hosting provider SiteGround adheres to the GDPR’s requirements. Any data transfers outside the EEA will be protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or similar legal mechanisms. You can review SiteGround’s privacy policy here.

2.2.         Registration Data

When you register for one or more of our events, we collect and store your name, surname, and date of birth on our servers until the race day. This information is shared with our race timing partners Agones SFC and via proxy to raceresult.com for timekeeping and age-grouping purposes. 2.3.         Comments

When you leave comments on the website we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

2.4         Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to gather anonymous information on how users interact with our website. No personally identifiable information is stored, and this data helps us improve the user experience. You can opt-out of Google Analytics tracking here.

Partial data (your name, surname and date of birth) is shared with Agones SFC, our timekeeping partner for timing and age grouping.

5.    THIRD PARTY ACCESS TO YOUR DATA

We don’t share your data with third-parties in a way as to reveal any of your personal information like email, ip address, etc. However, we do share your name, surname and date of birth with Agones SFC for the purposes of timekeeping and age grouping during the event. This data will be retained by them on their results page.

6.    HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA

Registration data is removed from our server on the same day the event / race takes place. Usually this happens a few hours after the race finishes.

Your name, surname and date of birth are retained by Agones SFC, and raceresult.com for historical race results which are available on their website.

7.    SECURITY MEASURES

We use the SSL/HTTPS protocol throughout our site. This encrypts our user communications with the servers so that personal identifiable information is not captured/hijacked by third parties without authorization.

In case of a data breach, system administrators will immediately take all the necesary stems to ensure system integrity. We will also get in touch with any users with compromised data.
