The Intersport series gives us runners a variety of challenges over the routes provided, challenges against known competitors and most importantly a way to track our progress with unchanged routes over the years. I definitely look forward to this series held through the year.

My favourite race is the Burmarrad 10k, a race which I took part in three times. It is a fast course and since it has two loops it is ideal for pacing oneself. The scenery is amazing and there is so much nature surrounding the course. Having held the course record for a while, I look forward to racing again. The Intersport races are very well organised, and the post race atmosphere is second to none! I encourage athletes to include these races in their race calendars!

I have been participating in the Intersport road running series since their inception. There is an interesting variety in these races. Some are challenging like the Valletta edition, some are fast like the Burmarrad edition and some are very scenic like the Three Cities and Maqluba editions. But one thing that they all have in common is that they are all very enjoyable. I have taken part and won all of them several times. The vibe and atmosphere at these races is always great and so is the organisation. Every single time I took part in these races has been a fantastic experience and I am really looking forward to the 2023 editions! I recommend them to runners of all levels.
