Having just cracked into the running scene one year ago, the 10k running series opened my door to road racing. My greatest fear in races is getting lost, however my mind is always at rest with all routes being well marked and well marshalled. The 10k races offer different challenges. Some routes are perfect for someone who is new and want to race for the first time, and others are more challenging yet rewarding. All races are very well organised and this is very important for the athletes as this easies the anxiety races create. Races are well split during the year which helps both athletes and enthusiasts plan races well. Being a mother, a PE teacher a student at university and an athlete, i feel that running helps me to cope better with my daily stress. Running is a sport for everyone and i am a firm believer that everyone can find time to include 30minutes in their busy daily schedule. Enrolling to these races can help anyone to set a target and better ones self.
